Stops friction sensitive nipples rubbing on clothing

I've got really sensitive nipples, and was trying to find something to stop the friction with clothes or breast pads - particularly when wet. These did a really good job of keeping the clothing off nipples, and I was completely stoked the first time I wore them. When I wear them out (usually for longer periods) I found that it was causing some minor pain, so I now only use them at home
