The ergonomic design supports a correct sitting position for the baby's hip, pelvis and spine growth. It disperses most of the baby's weight between the hips and thighs, which helps to eliminate compression of the spine when hanging by the crotch which most other designs require. It also balances the baby's weight to parents' hips and shoulders, and alleviates physical stress for the parent...comfy for trips to the shops and long hikes as well.

The new Sport model has the same great features of the original model...with some added extras! It  has a lighter, more breathable fabric with slight wicking to keep wearers more comfortable. The carrier's body features a vent to provide extra breathability, keeping both baby and wearer cooler. The waist belt can extend an additional 5" further than the original model, and the shoulder straps can extend an extra 4", providing comfortable fit for wearers of all sizes. The sleeping hood is completely detachable and can be stored in the pocket
