The ERGObaby Carrier is an all-in-one soft structured baby carrier, assisting you through all the stages of your baby's growth and moving from front to hip to back position easily. The innovative design makes wearing your baby comfortable for hours at a time, gives you the freedom to remain active and productive in your daily life, and holds your baby secure to your body so your hands are free. An ERGObaby Carrier gives you continuous connection, fabulous feeling of freedom, and security knowing your baby is safe.
The ergonomic design supports a correct sitting position for the baby's hip, pelvis and spine growth. It disperses most of the baby's weight between the hips and thighs, which helps to eliminate compression of the spine when hanging by the crotch which most other designs require. It also balances the baby's weight to parents' hips and shoulders, and alleviates physical stress for the parent...comfy for trips to the shops and long hikes as well.
* An ERGObaby Heart 2 Heart Infant Insert is recommended for use for the first 3-4 months, until baby has reached 5 kgs or has good head control. This is not included with the ERGObaby Carrier but can be purchased separately.

After years of lusting after my friends beautiful ergo, I've finally scored it! and it was well worth the wait! I needed a second carrier so i could wash my Kozy (which i also love), but the ergo is so fab that its not just a spare! My husband loves using it (prefers it to the kozy) as he just has to clip up buckles and not mess with ties. The shoulder straps are super comfy, although i find mine do wander out to the sides a little, but it has no negative impact other than needing to give it a bit of a tweek every now and then. Baby loves being in the ergo too! Its where she spends her nap time during the day, allowing me to get things done as well as keeping her snug and happy! The sleeping hood keeps her head nice and secure when she's napping, as well as that cold winter wind off it! I haven't tried it on my back yet, as it seems a little tricky with a small bub, but i'm sure its something that, once mastered, is a walk in the park! Yay! for baby-wearing and yay! for the ergo!
