The Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump is a double electric breast pump that combines the legacy of hospital-proven technology with mum friendly features. Small, lightweight and portable, the Purely Yours is ideal for mums who need to express frequently, at home or on the go.
Ameda is the only brand to use the HygieniKit milk collection kit, an exclusive patented system that prevents contaminants coming into contact with breastmilk. This ensures you provide the purest milk possible to baby. It also stops moisture and breastmilk from entering the tubing (a problem that can occur with pumps that don’t use this system). Another great feature of the Purely Yours Breast Pump is that it comes with two fully adjustable controls. Whereas most pumps have one control to increase or decrease power, the Purely Yours comes with two: suction strength and cycle speed. This gives a much greater degree of flexibility to find the most effective pumping levels for your individual needs.
Included:
1 x Motor, 1 x AC power adapter, 1 x Dual HygieniKit (2 x Pump Body with Breast Flange - 25mm, 2 x 120ml Bottles, 2 x Teat Insert Lid with Sealing Disc, 2 x Tubing, 2 x Diaphragm, 2 x Adapter Cap, 1 x Tubing Adapter, 4 x Valve), 1 x Instruction Manual. Teats are not included.
This product is a single user item. Use by more than one user may pose a health risk, performance questions, and voids the warranty.

I love this pump. I had considered buying a pump before I gave birth but in the end I held off and I am glad I did. I had a hard time producing enough milk and my baby was a poor sucker so I ended up expressing fulltime. I needed a double pump and this pump has not let me down. You can use it as a single or double, and alter the speeds and suction (I used to start on high speed low suction - (similar to the medela 1st phase) and then change to slower speed high suction). I mastered using both pumps with one hand whilst doing something e.g. browsing on my mobile with the other.
I used a Medela hospital grade pump whilst in hospital and this Ameda pump has been just as good. I love the closed system tubing for the fact it does not get moisture in the tubing. Overall, I think this is an excellent pump and for a comparable price to the Medela swing, I would rather have a double pump that takes half the time, or at least offers you that option. Buy this one!!

Purchased this pump as I have a premmie still in hospital. Fantastic pump. Easy to use and very comfortable. I like the dual control of speed and suction worked really well being able to adjust to suit my requirements. Cannot recommend this product highly enough. Definately worth the money. And saved me so much time being able to express both sides at same time.

I really wish I had of brought this item with my first child instead of going for cheaper, dodgy style products. This pump is so quick and easy to use (once you work out how to sit comfortably with two pumps going at once - I put one in the machine base and rest it on my lap and hold the other one in my hand). Loving the freedom that having a milk supply on hand gives us too!
I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to have a quick and easy way of pumping their milk, however for the price you would have to be serious about pumping regularly I think. Otherwise I can recommend (from friends) the Medula Pumps... I've heard awesome things about them too and their manual pump is cheaper.

I have twin boys who I decided I would try and breast feed with, but struggled so after 6 weeks I decided to look at expressing so they were still getting the milk they needed. I came across this breast pump after much research and it was just awesome!! At my peak I was expressing 400mls most sessions and was all done within 15mins. The clean up was easy and was such an efficent pump, better than the one I was using in hospital which was a good named brand. If anyone is looking for a breast pump then this is definately the way to go, I have got mine in storage and dusting it off for number #3 which is arriving in the next month or so :-)

I purchased this breast pump after much deliberation and have not looked back since. Although I no longer breast feed, I have the pump in storage for when #2 comes along. It was so easy to use (and clean) and collected a good amount of milk in an short period of time (I used to get 150ml in 10min). Loved the fact that you could convert from a double to single pump if need be. Highly recommend this breast pump - I was happy with every aspect of it and did not have any problems with it all.

With both my babies coming early I expressed for both as they were always falling asleep when feeding ... this gave me the opportunity to still feed them my precious breast milk, without the hassle.
I researched my purchase thoroughly and decided the Ameda Purely Yours was best for me. Nursing Angel were fast & efficient at geeting it out to me too ;)
I always recommend this breast pump to any of my friends considering purchasing a breast pump.
It's ease of use, ability to use singly or as a double and adjustable suction control is wonderful.
I have used a hospital grade breast pump as well and I rate this breast pump as highly as the one I used in hospital!

After bub no.1 I knew I wanted something better in terms of a breast pump. The Ameda from Nursing Angel was awesome. I expressed daily for the first 5 months. With the Ameda it gave me the choice of double pumping or single, perfect! Individual controls meant that I could adjust the speed and suction to whatever I wanted. I highly recommend this product, especially for the way it's made, having somewhere to place the bottles so that they do not fall over and spill your precious breast milk. It is also great for taking out and about with you, on holidays, anywhere.

This pump has traveled with me across the country and to work. It's so easy to use and expressing with this is so much quicker. I have recommended this pump to many friends and they love it too!

I just loved this pump!!! I had to express for 3 months straight every 4 hours and it definitely kept my milk up :). It's also great been able to express both breasts at the same time...saves soooo much time going from one to the other!

This pump has been a great investment. I only fed first time around for 6 weeks because of low supply. I had a manual pump then and had heard an electric pump is better for increasing supply so bought this for my second. He is 5 weeks old and lost 600g in hospital so I was worried about my supply again. I started expressing regularly as soon as I got home and it has definitely helped with my supply. I can get around 150ml in 10 minutes so it's very effective. I just use it as a single pump as I found it a bit awkward to do two at a time. I've had very sore nipples from attachment and now have vasospasm and it is still very comfortable to use without causing pain. I've had periods where I have stopped feeding for days and given expressed milk so it's been fantastic to give me that break and let my nipples heal. Very easy to use and to clean. I researched this a lot before buying and would buy again. I also checked prices and Nursing Angel was the cheapest I could find. I used a medela pump in hospital and this one is just as comfortable and works as effectively. Would highly recommend.
