The TaylorMade Coral Sands Batik Sling is soft and smooth, with a gorgeous batik design. The sling features strong aluminium rings (safety tested to 113kg) and is unpadded for easy adjustments and less bulk. The sturdy but breathable shirt-weight fabric allows you to carry baby safely without overheating and easily carry around in your nappy bag. TaylorMade’s unique shoulder design spreads the fabric widely over shoulder and back for maximum comfort.

About Batik:
Batik is the ancient art of applying wax to fabric to resist dye. While the art exists in various forms all over the world, it has become a great art form on the islands of Indonesia. TaylorMade batiks are dyed by hand in Bali using the following process. The wax is applied to the fabric with a pen or a stamp. Once it is applied, the fabric is immersed in dye. The areas that have wax will resist the dye. The wax is then removed from the fabric by boiling. If additional colours are applied, the previously dyed areas may be waxed and covered before the new colors are applied. The process can be repeated over and over until the pattern is finished. The process of dying, boiling and drying produces a fabric that is fairly shrink resistant. After dying is completed and the last of the wax has been removed from the cloth, the finished fabric is laid out on the ground to dry. It is then pressed, rolled on flat boards or tubes and shipped to the US for construction into slings.

Fits height 153cm-193cm (5’0”-6’4”) with a weight range of 45kg-90kg (100lb-200lb). Sizing only affects the length of the tail, however, please consider the following:
> If both your height and weight are at the lower or upper end of the scale (e.g. 156cm/48kg or 188cm/85kg), there may be too much or too little fabric in the tail
> If you are particularly large breasted, factor this into your measurements
