The Ameda Flexishield Areola Stimulator is a comfortable silicone insert that fits the standard size flange in the Ameda Milk Collection Kit and can be used with all Ameda breast pumps.
It provides increased stimulation to the areola area to stimulate the let-down reflex, mimicing the feel of a baby's mouth.
Many women find the standard 25mm breast flanges too large if they have smaller nipples. The Flexishield Areola Stimulator reduces the breast flange size to 21mm, enabling for more effective pumping.
