Postage Costs

To keep things nice & easy, we have a flat rate postage cost regardless of your location in Australia.

SPECIAL OFFER: Receive FREE Standard Delivery with orders of $200 or more!


$6.95 Standard Delivery – All orders shipped within 1-2 business days via Australia Post delivery services and road couriers. A parcel tracking number is included. Regular Australia Post delivery transit times apply.

$9.95 Express Delivery - All orders are shipped by the next business day via Express Post and express couriers. A parcel tracking number is included. Express delivery transit times of 1-2 business days apply if in express delivery networks, otherwise standard delivery transit times apply.

Orders over five cubic kilos may incur an oversize postage surcharge. In the rare instance this is the case, you will be contacted prior to order processing and given the option of paying the surcharge or cancelling/changing your order.


Delivery Times

Once your order has been shipped, please allow the following delivery transit time for your parcel to arrive:
 
EXPRESS DELIVERY: 1-2 business days. If outside express delivery networks, standard delivery times apply.

NSW Country & ACT: 2 Business Days
Brisbane & Melbourne: 2 Business Days
QLD & VIC Country:  3 Business Days
Far North QLD:  4 Business Days
Adelaide: 3 Business Days
SA Country, TAS & NT: 4 Business Days
Perth: 4 Business Days
WA Country: 5 Business Days
Far North & Remote WA: 6 Business Days
   
Delivery transits times are estimates provided by our delivery carriers. The majority of parcels arrive within these times.

















 


Delivery Tracking

All parcels are sent with a delivery tracking number and a signature or person-to-person delivery is required. Parcels are not left unattended (unless Authority to Leave has been given). You will receive a shipping confirmation email which will include your delivery tracking number and a link to tracking your parcel if it has not arrived as expected. Please add Nursing Angel to your address book to ensure you receive our emails and they don’t accidently end up in spam folders.


Delivery Address

Please use a street address wherever possible as couriers cannot deliver to post office boxes. You can use a PO Box but keep in mind that your order can only be sent via Australia Post.


Insurance

In order to keep costs down for our customers, insurance is not automatically included with orders. Please click here if you wish to insure your order for loss or damage. This is recommended for items of value so you can make a claim in the rare event your order goes missing or arrives damaged.


Not Home for Delivery

All parcels require a signature or person-to-person delivery (unless Authority to Leave has been given, see below). If you are not home, a delivery notification card will be left for you to either collect your parcel at the post office or to ring the courier to arrange a free re-delivery. Please respond to delivery notification cards promptly to avoid your parcel being returned to sender.


Authority to Leave

We are happy to follow any Authority to Leave instructions, however please note this is at your risk. If you would like to give Authority to Leave your parcel if not home, please clear instructions in the Messages section during checkout.  If you’re unsure if you’ll be home for delivery, we recommend using an address where you know someone will be able to accept your parcel (eg partner’s work address).


Oversize Surcharge

An oversize postage surcharge may apply for orders over five cubic kilos. In the rare instance this is the case, you will be contacted by email before your order is processed. You may then elect to pay the surcharge or cancel/change your order. The surcharge is not automatically calculated at checkout. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us before placing an order.


Lost or Damaged Parcels

Thankfully it is rare for parcels to be lost or damaged in transit. We take great care with packaging your order and inspect all items carefully to ensure they are in mint condition. All parcels are sent with a delivery tracking number, and a signature or person-to-person delivery is  required (unless Authority to Leave has been given).

Lost Parcels:
If your parcel has not arrived as expected, please see your shipping confirmation email for the link to tracking your order. If you have deleted this email, please contact us to have it re-sent to you (add Nursing Angel to your address book to ensure you receive our emails and they don’t accidently end up in spam folders).
 
The most common reasons for parcels not arriving as expected are:
> Not enough time allowed for delivery. Delivery transit time is from the date your order was shipped, not from the date your order was placed.
 > Misplaced delivery notification card. This card will be left if no-one was home at the time of delivery (sometimes these cards get mixed up with junk mail or misplaced). Your parcel will either be at your local post office or with the courier company awaiting your re-delivery instructions.Please arrange collection immediately to avoid your parcel being returned to sender.
> Unexpected delivery transit delays: Occasionally there are delivery transit delays with Australia Post and couriers which are beyond our control. Please allow an extra or two for your parcel to arrive.
> Incorrect shipping address details supplied: Please check you typed in the correct shipping address details. We print and use this as your parcel label.

Damaged Parcels:
If you chose to purchase insurance for your order, please contact us immediately for help with any claim. If you have not insured your order, please contact the delivery carrier directly with any concerns. Once a parcel is handed to our delivery carriers it leaves our control and unfortunately we cannot be responsible for loss or damage in transit. Our packing department carefully inspects all orders to ensure items are in new and undamaged condition and they are packaged appropriately to avoid damage in transit under normal circumstances.
 
Please note that Nursing Angel cannot be held responsible for parcels that are lost or damaged and all risk passes to the customer once a parcel has been handed to the delivery carrier. Insurance for loss and damage is available for optional purchase by the customer to cover against this risk and Nursing Angel will provide assistance with any insurance claims. The delivery carrier is responsible for all shipping issues, and any claims for loss or damage for uninsured parcels must be made directly with them.


Undeliverable Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable (due to failure to respond to delivery calling cards, incorrect address details supplied etc), Nursing Angel will re-deliver for an additional postage and handling fee of $9.95 or actual postage cost if greater than this amount.
