Why should I order with Nursing Angel?


Nursing Angel offers a wide variety of local and overseas products at reasonable prices – all your favourites, hard-to-find items and overseas bestsellers. We regularly have free gift with purchase offers and ship most orders the next business day. No handling fees are charged for your order and we have flat rate postage options and discounted courier services. Our easy Returns & Exchanges Policy allows you to return or exchange products within 14 days of purchase, making shopping online a whole lot easier. Nursing Angel's resident Lactation Consultant provides a huge free online Q&A help section, answering all of your common breastfeeding questions. How do I add an item to the shopping cart?

Locate the product you are interested in and click on the “Add to Cart” button located next to the item.

How do I know if an item has been added to the shopping cart?

Once you have clicked on the "Add to Cart" button to place an item in your shopping cart, your page will refresh and the item will be added to your cart. All items in your shopping cart can be seen in the right hand column of the website or by clicking the "View Cart" button in the top menu navigation bar.

How do I remove or change quantities of items in the shopping cart?

You can easily remove or change quantities of items in your shopping cart. Click on the “Edit Items” button at the bottom of your shopping cart or by clicking the "View Cart" button in the top menu navigation bar. You can remove or changes quantities of an item here.

How do I get to the checkout?

Click on the “Checkout” button in the top menu navigation bar or at the bottom of your shopping cart. When the "Checkout" link is clicked, it will take you directly to the secure checkout area for completion of your purchase.
How do I check the postage cost for my shopping cart?

You can check postage costs as soon as you’ve added an item to your shopping cart. There is no need to register first, enter full address details or go through checkout to view postage costs! Click on the “Calculate Shipping” link located at the bottom of your shopping cart or access it through the “View Cart” button in the top menu navigation bar. Enter your country and postcode for exact postage costs for the items in your cart. Please note: international shipping calculations are based on country only – just enter any number or letter in the post code field to use the calculator.

How do I know my order has been received?

Once your order is received by Nursing Angel, you will receive an order confirmation email to the email address you entered during checkout.

What happens if an item I ordered is out of stock?

We aim to maintain “real time” stock levels on our website. However, occasionally we have sudden rushes on particular products and run out of stock. We will contact you as soon as possible if this is the case. You may choose to delay your delivery until all items are available, place the unavailable item on backorder or remove the item altogether from your order.

Do you do automatic backorders?

No! One of the most frustrating things with online ordering is to complete your purchase, await delivery…and nothing arrives. If an item you have ordered is unavailable for shipment within 24-48 hours, we’ll contact you as soon as possible. You may choose to delay delivery until all items are available, place the unavailable item on backorder or remove the item altogether from your order.

Can I change or cancel my order once submitted?

Payments are processed at the time of order placement so please review your order carefully before placing it. Should you wish to cancel or make a change to your order, please contact us immediately. We’re happy to accommodate your request if your order hasn’t already been processed. We pack and ship quickly but will gladly make changes to your order beforehand. Due to the costs involved to us, we charge a $5 fee for any cancellations or changes to orders resulting in a refund.

Payments

Currency of Transactions.

All transactions and prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars and include 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). If you are an international customer, the GST will be deducted from your order during check-out.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following payment methods:

Credit card payments:
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express payments through our secure online ordering system. Our shopping cart uses 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protection, the highest level of protection currently available for eCommerce transactions. PayPal:
 
Pay using funds from your PayPal account. All PayPal payments are processed within our checkout system without the need for a separate PayPal log in. For more information about PayPal, please visit the PayPal website.

Direct Debit:
Payment can be made via direct debit using the Nursing Angel banking information supplied to you during checkout. You can pay over the counter at your bank or with online banking. Please ensure you include your order number as a reference for the payment. Your order will be shipped once funds clear and appear in our bank statement (approximately 24-48 hours after payment). Orders not paid in full within five business days will be cancelled.

I don’t like ordering over the internet. How else can I order?

You can phone, fax or post your order to us. We accept credit card payment, money orders and cheques (Australian banks and in Australian dollars only) for postal orders, and credit payments for phone or fax orders. Please contact us for more details.

We use real time payment processing and your credit card will be charged immediately on purchase.

Why was my credit card declined?

There are a number of reasons why your credit card was declined during payment processing. This includes insufficient funds available, credit limit reached, incorrect three digit CSC number entered or expired card used. Please contact your issuing bank if problems persist.

How do I create an account or view my existing account details?

If this is your first time shopping with us, you don’t need to create an account until the checkout process. You can add items to the shopping cart and calculate shipping costs without creating an account. New and existing accounts can be created and accessed at any time by clicking on the “My Account” box in the right hand column of the website. This will take you to the secure log in and account creation page.

I’ve forgotten my password.

Click on the “My Account” box in the right hand column of the website. This will take you to the secure account log in and account creation page. Under the “Existing Customer” log in area, there is a link called "Forgotten your password? Click here." This is where you can have your password emailed directly emailed to you. You will need to be logged into your account to view order details. To log in, click on the “My Account” box in the right hand column of the website. This will take you to the secure account log in area. Once you have logged in, click on the “View Your Orders” link under the “My Account” box in the right hand column of the website.

What postage options are available?

We offer three different postage options for Australian orders:
  • Free delivery for orders $150 or more - standard delivery service. All breast pump orders are sent via courier and Express Post (large orders over 3kg will be sent via Registered Post for remote and regional locations).
  • $6 Flat Rate Delivery for orders under $150 - standard delivery service.
  • Fast Delivery with Courier & Express Post - from $6.

If you require a special delivery method please contact us to arrange.

For international orders we use Australia Post's airmail service.

Free Delivery for Orders $150 or more.

Free delivery for all Australian orders over $150. Standard service with same details and conditions as $6 Flat Rate Delivery (details below). All breast pump orders are sent via courier and Express Post (large orders over 3kg will be sent via Registered Post for remote and regional locations).

$6 Flat Rate Delivery for Orders under $150.

$6 flat rate delivery cost is available for Australian deliveries. This is a standard service only. Please allow 1-7 business days for your delivery to arrive after shipping. We ship from Sydney so the closer you live to Sydney and major capitals, the quicker you'll receive your order! We regret we cannot be held responsible for non-delivered orders or goods damaged in transit as no insurance or order tracking is included. If you require insurance or Registered Post, please contact us to arrange.

Deliveries are made during business hours, Monday to Friday. If you're not home at the time of delivery for parcels that don’t fit in your letter box, a card will usually be left for you to collect your parcel at the post office or to call for re-delivery to your address. Courier deliveries are available for orders to the cities and towns listed below (except for post office boxes and RMBs). Courier rates are for orders up to 10kg. For larger orders or if your location isn’t included below, please contact us for a custom quote.

Deliveries are made during business hours, Monday to Friday. For courier delivery, you can choose to give an "Authority to Leave" your parcel at the front door (or other location) if you're not home. Please write clear instructions in the Messages section during checkout.

Please note: If you're outside the courier delivery zones, your order will be sent with Express Post. Large orders over 3kg will be sent via Registered Post to remote and regional locations.

International Shipping.

We send all international orders with Australia Post’s air mail service at cost price. You also receive a discount on your order at checkout as international deliveries are not required to pay the 10% Australian Goods & Services Tax (GST). Returns & Exchanges

What is your Exchanges and Returns Policy?

Returns? Exchanges? Not a problem! If you decide you want a different colour or size, or simply change your mind, you may exchange or return items within 14 days of your order date. The package containing the returned item or item for exchange must be received by us within the 14 day period. Please read our Returns & Exchanges Policy below.

Returns & Exchanges Policy:

All items for return or exchange must be received by us within 14 days of the order date. You must contact us prior to posting an item, with details of your return or exchange so we know to expect your delivery and check stock availability. If an exchange arrives unannounced, your exchange may be delayed until stock is available.

You are responsible for all return and exchange postage costs, with the exception of faulty or defective merchandise. The customer pays for postage costs each way.

Items must be returned in original, unused and saleable condition with original packaging intact. We reserve the right to refuse to accept returns or exchanges on goods that are not in the above stated,  condition.t Please be sure to pack your item carefully for posting. We recommend using a trackable postage method such as Registered Post, as we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged parcels. 

Some products cannot be returned or exchanged. This includes any item that has been used, worn, soiled or damaged in any way, is not in original condition with packaging intact. Items for human consumption (including vitamins and teas) cannot be returned. Items clearly marked for non-return or exchange in their product description and any custom made orders cannot be returned.

Refunds for returns will be credited to the original payment method used, less the actual postage cost and a $5 handling fee to cover our expenses. If your order was sent using a promotional free delivery method, we'll deduct the cost price postage paid by us from your refund. If your order was sent using a subsidised postage method such as $6 flat rate shipping, the actual postage charge less $6 will be charged. If not all items ordered are sent for return, no postage cost will be refunded.

Our return policy does not apply if any of the above terms and conditions aren’t adhered to.

What products cannot be returned or exchanged?

Although most product can easily be returned or exchanged within 14 days of your order date, there are some items which regrettably we cannot offer return or exchanges for. This includes items that have been used, worn, soiled or damaged in any way, and are not in original condition with packaging intact. Items for human consumption (including vitamins and teas) cannot be returned. Items clearly marked for non-return or exchange in their product description and any custom made orders cannot be returned. Please contact us if you have any questions.

The product I ordered is faulty or defective.


If an item you received is faulty or defective, we will gladly exchange it at no cost to you within 14 days of your order date. Please contact us with full details of the fault or defect and we will determine how best to resolve the problem with minimum inconvenience to you. Once your item has been returned to us for inspection, we’ll gladly send out a replacement. We’ll arrange collection of the item or reimburse you for postage costs, and pay for all postage costs for a replacement.

After 14 days of your order date, normal manufacturer warranties apply and you will need to contact the manufacturer directly with any faults or problems. Please contact us if you require manufacturer contact numbers.

The product I ordered is damaged.

If your order was sent using our $12 courier delivery service, it is covered by transit insurance. Please contact us with details of your damaged item. We’ll arrange for collection of the item and pay for all postage costs for a replacement. Please note that parcels left with “Authority to Leave” are not covered by insurance once delivered and left unattended at your delivery location.
 
If your order was sent using our $6 flat rate delivery, we regret we are unable to provide compensation as no insurance is included with this delivery method.

Do you ship internationally?

We are more than happy to ship anywhere in the world…and you receive a discount at checkout! International orders are not required to pay the 10% Australian Goods & Services Tax (GST) and this amount will be deducted from your order during checkout.

Why should I order from Nursing Angel?

Additional discount on checkout of the 10% GST, airmail costs at published Australia Post rates, no packaging or handling fees, parcels securely and safely packaged for delivery, hard-to-find products available and shipped quickly! All electrical items sold on our website come with Australian electrical plugs, however, please contact us if you require an adaptor for your country as these can be easily arranged for you.

What shipping options are available for international orders?

We send international orders with Australia Post via airmail. If you prefer to use a courier service, please contact us for a quote. Please be aware that your order may be subject to duties, taxes, fees or restrictions depending on your country of destination. Orders sent with Australia Post are trackable only to the point of leaving Australia and are uninsured.

I get an error message when I try to calculate shipping.

Our shipping calculator is programmed for Australian destinations where costs are based on postal code. International destinations without a post code or zip code may receive an error message. Simply type in a space or any number in the post code field to use the calculator; international shipping is based on country of destination only so it doesn’t actually use the post code field to perform calculations.

Is your Returns & Exchanges Policy still valid for international orders?

It certainly is! You can easily make returns or exchanges as detailed in our Returns & Exchanges Policy. The only exclusion relates to the return and replacement of faulty or defective merchandise where postage costs will be borne by you.

Do I get any free stuff with my order?

Please see our Promotions page as we regularly have free gift with purchase offers. We also have a selection of free product samples, brochures and information leaflets which we include in orders depending on availability.

Do you offer gift wrapping and delivery for gifts?

Please see our Gift Guide for gift wrapping services and gift ideas. We can send your order directly to the gift recipient, without including your order invoice. To arrange this, please enter the recipient name and address during checkout by selecting a different address for shipping. Please make a note that this order is a gift delivery in the “Messages” area during checkout and we won’t include your order invoice!

You are given the option of signing up for our regular newsletter during checkout. However, you may subscribe at any time by entering your email address in the “Newsletter Signup” box in the right hand column of the website and clicking the “Subscribe” button.

All postage options are available to retail customers only and exclude wholesale and bulk orders. Nursing Angel cannot accept any responsibility in the event of loss, damage or non-delivery of your order when using $6 flat rate delivery. 

Orders shipped with our $12 courier delivery services are covered by transit insurance for the dollar value paid for your item(s) less delivery charges. All claims for damaged goods must be made within two business days of your order delivery. We will replace damaged goods free of charge upon inspection and confirmation of damage. All postage costs for the return and replacement of the damaged item will be borne by us. If your delivery has been lost, Nursing Angel will replace goods free of charge upon confirmation of loss by the courier company. Parcels left with “Authority to Leave” are not covered by insurance once delivered and left unattended at your delivery location.

Orders shipped with Australia Post’s airmail service are not insured and are trackable to the point where they have left Australia. Delivery is subsequently reliant on overseas postal services. Although it’s rare for a parcel to go missing, Nursing Angel will provide as much assistance as possible in tracing misdirected items but cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged by Australian or overseas postal services. Your order may be subject to duties, taxes, fees or restrictions depending on your country of destination. Please check with your local authority as we cannot be responsible for any of these costs or refused deliveries.

Nursing Angel reserves the right to amend the invoice where errors due to data entry, estimation or calculation have occurred; and to cancel any orders at its discretion.
