Pouch slings are very popular - particularly with first time parents - as they are so easy to use. You simply put the pouch onto one shoulder, put baby in and away you go. The classic fitted pouch is made from a continous loop of fabric which is curved to fit your body and to support baby: they come in different sizes to fit your shape. The adjustable pouch is one size to fit most shapes (Hotslings AP is the first adjustable pouch on the market, with a unique patent pending design that maintains a continuous loop of fabric). The buckle pouch doesn't have a continuous loop of fabric: buckles secure the pouch together and are adjusted to fit your shape. Many pouches include light shoulder padding or rail padding for extra comfort.
